- The Motor Development Lab, is a research lab and clinical implementation physical therapy practice that focuses on providing cutting edge care to infants and young children with or at high risk of developmental disabilities.
- The USC Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy is consistently one of the top ranked physical therapy programs in the United States. This department is committed to transforming how we prepare the next generation of physical therapists to deliver the highest level of care to society. - Keck School of Medicine University of Southern California, Division of Pediatrics
- The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California was established in 1885 as the region’s first medical school and the second professional school founded at USC. Keck School of Medicine is best known for it’s achievements as the first academic Department of Emergency Medicine in the United States in 1970, the first to provide real-world experience in patient care in the first year of medical school, and the first to develop a cross-disciplinary program for medical and engineering students to find solutions to real-world health care problems. The Division of Pediatrics provides care to children across Los Angeles in multiple hospitals and outpatient practices.
- University of California Los Angeles Mattel High Risk Infant Follow-Up Clinic and Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics
- The UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital High Risk Infant Follow-Up (HRIF) clinic provides comprehensive medical care, neurodevelopmental follow-up, care coordination, resources and psychosocial support for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) graduates and their families from the time of discharge until 3 years of age. Babies are usually referred to our clinic from the NICU at UCLA as well as by pediatricians and other community NICUs. Services that are available in our clinic include neuromotor, developmental, psychological, medical and nutritional assessments and treatment for children with developmental and behavioral disorders. When a family or pediatrician has concerns that a child may need support for their development, behavior, or social communication, UCLA Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Program offers comprehensive assessment services, and follow up care. With a strong emphasis on family-centered and interdisciplinary care, they offer support, training, education, and referrals to community-based resources to patients and their families.
- Los Angeles General Hospital, Neonatology
- LAC+USC Medical Center, now Los Angeles General Medical Center, offers world-class care to the LA community. LA General is a world-class teaching hospital and Level-One trauma center serving 10 million residents. The hospital is a training site for the U.S. Navy and more than 900 physicians completing their Graduate Medical Education in nearly every medical specialty and subspecialty. Their mission is to provide world-class care and education for all in the LA community, to lead the nation in building healthy communities, and demonstrate values of teamwork, accountability, trust, and compassion.
- Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
- Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is one of America’s premier teaching hospitals, affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC). This hospital pairs award-winning compassionate care with a time-tested model comprehensive approach to care that consistently delivers the best health outcomes. CHLA is also a national leader in pediatric research. Researchers are dedicated to constantly improving patient care by bringing the best ideas from research labs to clinic and hospital rooms, advancing diagnosis and treatment options for children. - Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center
- Headquartered in Alhambra, a community of Los Angeles county, The Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center (ELARC) is a private, non-profit organization under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS). ELARC is one of 21 Regional Centers in the state, coordinating and providing community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- North Los Angeles County Regional Center
- North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) is one of 21 private, non-profit organizations under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to coordinate and provide community-based services to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (consumers). NLACRC currently serves more than 28,000 individuals, and has supported consumers and their families in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, and Antelope Valleys for more than 45 years
- Los Angeles County California Children’s Services & Children’s Medical Services
- California Children’s Services (CCS) is a statewide program that coordinates and pays for medical care and therapy services for children under 21 years of age with certain health care needs. Los Angeles County CCS is part of the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health. CCS works with: Private insurance, Medi-Cal Healthy Families, and Healthy Kids, to provide services that are not provided at CCS
- The Medical Therapy Program (MTP) is a special program within California Children’s Services (CCS) that provides physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and Medical Therapy Conference (MTC) services for children who have certain conditions, including cerebral palsy. MTC is comprised of the interdisciplinary team including the client and caregiver/family, PT, OT, and MTC physician.
